Our Paediatric Programs:
1.1 Parents Consultation
- Objective:
For better understanding on children’s progress.
- How OT helps?
We provide education session / with parents discuss about child’s progress. Thus, providing significant program.
- Outcomes:
Parents and OT will provide a firm and more efficient way to handle child at home / and for therapist provide better treatment.
1.2 Early Intervention Programme (EIP)
- Design for:
Global Child Delay development below 5 years old having:
1) Language delay
2) Gross motor and fine motor delay
3) Focal and play
- Objective:
To improve child’s development, to keep child’s developmental progress on track.
- How OT helps?
Providing various activities / components to facilitate and to enable function of specific developmental stage using variable methods / equipment.
- Outcomes:
Child will gain specific developmental improvement thus encourage further positive progress.
1.3 Sensory Integration Programme
- Design for:
Special need child. Indicates sensory / multisensory issues or problem; effective with children who had intellectual disabilities; APHD, ADD, Autism, etc.
- Objective:
To improve awareness, attention, concentration.
To reduce hyperactivity, attention problem.
To provide effect of calmness.
- How OT helps?
Provide one (1) or various multisensory stimulation using various equipment to enable specific skills of a child; or to reduce hyperactivity; and improve attention.
- Outcomes:
Children with sensory problems, they are ready to have better interaction with other people at home, school, and community.
1.4 Relationship Development Intervention (RDI)
- Design for:
Child / students who having behaviour problems:
1) Conduct disorder
2) Truancy
Child with intellectual disabilities are also vulnerable to develop inappropriate behaviour.
- Objective:
To tackle child / students having inappropriate behaviour, thus to diminish poor behaviour and create positive behaviour.
- How OT helps?
Parents info is much needed on how, when child / students starts developing inappropriate behaviour, and OT will provide various settings / roles for children to encourage better / or to diminish unwanted behaviour.
- Outcomes:
Children will develop a better and more positive behaviour thus for a better communication and relation among families carer, and communities.
1.5 Pre School Intervention
- Design for:
Child / students who are having problems in term of hand writing, learning difficulties, and calculation.
- Objective:
To tackle child with handwriting, learning difficulties and calculation problems.
- How OT helps?
Various knowledge needed; home setting and school setting for the child / students. OT will come for visit at school, assess and analyze school performance of the child / students’ cooperation is needed between OT and teachers.
- Outcomes:
Child / student will be able to participate fully in school activities, maximizing function in terms of learning, handwriting skills and calculation.
